What is Wine?

What is Wine?
Wine or in English is often called Wine is an alcoholic beverage made from fermented grapes or other fruits. Due to the natural chemical balance, grapes can ferment without added nutrients, sugars, acids, enzymes, air or other nutrients. In the fermentation process, the yeast will consume the sugar content of the wine and convert it into ethanol and carbon dioxide. Different varieties of wine and yeast will produce different types of wine. These variations can result from complex interactions between the biochemical development of grapes, the reactions involved in the fermentation process, the fermentation environment (special characteristics resulting from the geographical, geological, climatic and even genetic environment of the grapes), the names or names given to explain where the grapes are to be grown. the wine grows), as well as human intervention in the whole process. Wine has been produced for many years. Recent evidence suggests that a wine jug is 8000 years old in Georgia. Traces of wine can also be found in Iran after the discovery of a 7000 year old wine jug and a 6100 year old winery in Armenia which is considered the first winery so far. However, the drink of grape wine has been known to the Chinese community with the discovery of 9000 year old wine pots in northern China. Grapes began to penetrate the Balkans since 4500 BC and consumed by the Greeks and Romans. In ancient Greek mythology, the God who is considered the God of wine and wine is Dionysus, in ancient Roman mythology known as Bacchus. Throughout history, wine was consumed as a drink to intoxicate.
